HOW TO FIND YOUR LATHE CHUCK

Cast iron is recommended for ordinary use. Typically, at stationary work stations. Steel is recommended for high-speed machining, eg. CNC machines. STEEL OR CAST IRON?

The lathe chuck is the most common tool for clamping work- pieces. It is mounted on your lathe and holds your workpiece while you work on it.

MOUNTING

CHECK YOUR MOUNTING It is your lathe station or CNC-machine, that decides which mounting you need. Usually, the information can be found written on your lathe station or in the manual. If not, it can be measured easily. See the measuring table on our website or contact us for guidance. The most common mountings:
